Our complete periodic table of the elements includes every one of the 118 known chemical elements, each with its own fact file: atomic number, symbol, group, period, who discovered it and what it is used for. Perfect for homework, projects and curiosity.
How the science section is organised
Each of the five subjects is split into sub-topics, and each sub-topic has its own set of detailed entries. For example, under physics you will find sub-topics for forces and motion, gravity, energy, light and optics, sound and waves, electricity and magnetism, and simple machines. Each sub-topic then contains its own pages, so you can drill from a single big idea (like "forces") right down to specific concepts (like "friction" or "Newton's three laws of motion").
Whether you are looking up something for school, working on a project, or just curious, the Factsmania science section has you covered with clear, kid-friendly explanations.
